The root beer was EXCELLENT! I was kind of disappointed that there were pictures of Manhattans, but those turned out to be specials. That was on me for not reading the menu closer. The burger I got was great along with the onion rings and potato salad. My family said the cottage cheese and pulled pork was good too! All in all the experience and food were worth it!
Salad was huge for only being a half salad. Everything in it was so fresh and presentation was on point. The onion rings were really good and fresh as well. Spouse had the burger and fries and it had plenty of toppings and was cooked fresh to order as well. Very glad we turned around and came back, it was delicious!
Really cute place, super super nice employees!! Very helpful, friendly, they helped us decide what to get and very good with all the customers. Food was good, pulled pork was ok, chili was great, iced tea was fresh brewed and great too! The table next to us kept taking about the sloppy joes and the tenderloin! Lots of locals were eating there too so you know it was a good place to eat!
We stopped today as many places are closed, due to it being Ascension Day. Plus great reviews. You order from the counter, pay and sit. They bring food to you. I had a grilled chicken salad and it was huge. I brought half home. The chicken was tender and abundant. Hubby had a double cheeseburger, they come plain but ask for toppings. The beef is fresh not frozen and was amazing. He took half home too. We definitely will come back on our next trip to the area. My second salad pic is what I took home.
My In-Laws recommended we have lunch here before showing us the rest of the town. I wanted something simple and I ordered the chicken salad croissant and it was awesome! Just the right amount of sweet. My fiancé order the pizza burger and he said they did a great job bringing the ingredients together to make it take like a pizza. My In-Laws got the Pork Tenderloin Sandwiches and one of them was jumbo! They were both cooked perfect with fresh toppings. Can’t wait to come back here and try more! We also got one of their shirts for the 10% discount the next time we come in wearing it! Thank you for the kind service!
Many years ago, I would eat the pizza burgers from there and enjoy them completely! The flavor is not much different, but with the amount of sauce that is on the burger, using a firmer bun to help absorb it would be good! Although there are a lot of little quaint gift items for sale at the restaurant, we had people leaning over us while we were trying to eat, and it made our visit a bit uncomfortable.
Best fries I've had in years Hamburgers made fresh full of flavor Root beer and a icy cold mug
